Follow Your Bliss utilizes fair trade and fair labor practices as a
paramount benchmark for our selectively chosen buying partners, artisans,
and craftspeople. Our bliss is to offer our customers products from around
the world made by individuals, families, and communities who enjoy safe and
humane working environments while receiving equitable prices for their
creations. A simple statement, but easier said than done! We
work diligently to establish relationships with like-minded partners who
assist us in obtaining products from the far corners of mother earth.
Asian World Imports is
our largest fair trade relationship. Jeff Kaley, owner, spent over five
years in Nepal as a Peace Corps volunteer. He speaks fluent Nepalese and has a great love and appreciation
of the Nepalese people and their culture. Subsequent annual visits to Nepal
have maintained Jeff's ongoing relationship with friends, craftspeople and
suppliers there. He also maintains similar relationships with craftspeople
in Bhutan, India, Thailand, and Vietnam. His business philosophy is to
utilize fair trade and labor practices with cultural and environmental
sensitivity. Jeff provides equitable wages to indigenous craftspeople with
consideration towards issues of child labor and safety in the workplace
while offering beautiful, reasonably priced imports to retailers here. Asian
World Imports strives to support the sustainability of indigenous cultures
and lifestyles by utilizing Fair Trade Principals; Buying directly from
producers; Paying fair living wages, and Gifting talented and needy
individuals and/or their communities with scholarships, job training,
medicines, and infrastructure in undeveloped regions. Jeff has paid for solar lights and medical supplies in
rural health posts; foot bridges across hazardous stream crossings, basic
benches and desks in schools, and over 40 stipends or scholarships to
disadvantaged students and more. Our relationship with Jeff Kaley of Asian World Imports is highly valued and we

We just love their fun and funky clothing & accessories from Nepal, Ecuador,
Guatemala, and India. Much of our hemp inventory is also acquired from this
supplier. Gypsy Rose does business with conscience and ethics; donating a percentage
of their profits to multiple charitable organizations. Gypsy Rose supports
organized co-ops in Ecuador and Nepal, where many of their products are
produced. These co-ops create cottage industries for artisans and
craftspeople to pursue their art and spirit, while at the same time, helping

Ms. Laverne is our dear friend in the country of Antigua, West Indies. Ms.
Laverne is our Caribbean seamstress, making custom clothing for us! We
visit her personally each January and she's very happy to sew up our special
orders of muslin shorts, pants, and shirts. She's a very special lady and
we value our continued relationship with her. Shown in the photo is Ms.

Ms. Benjamin is another valued supplier in Antigua! Her precious hand-made
rag dolls have been a huge hit with our customers! She is shown here with
one of her "flip" dolls, which are reversible, two-in-one dolls! Just flip
